The Friends of Northwest Park is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to the preservation of Northwest Park. In 2010, Jan's Sewing Room was born with a small beginning in a home studio. After 10 years, I have come full circle and have enjoyed having my studio back home....HOWEVER....I am now in my NEW location - East Hartland CT - I will be offering classes to children age 7 and up....adults are also welcome to come and sew/quilt. I also offer quilting services to those quilters that need someone to get those tops finished! I have been fortunate to have had over 200 students come through my program over the years...many have stayed with me for quite a while. I look forward to sharing the art of sewing and quilting to students..young and old!!
