One look at it, and you'd think a giant Frosty the Snowman shook himself after a snowball fight, leaving soft, sparkling snow everywhere! Now, let's zoom in on our skiing squad, a band of audacious kids happier on skis than on solid ground! Leading this troupe was the coolest, funniest, and most imaginative character of all, named Chilly Billy. He was as quick as a toboggan and had a heart as warm as hot cocoa. With his neon helmet and polka-dotted ski suit, he looked like a comic-strip hero who had jumped right out of the pages into the snowy world of Connecticut! Chilly Billy had this funny trick where he would ski backward and make funny faces, causing an uproar of laughter echoing through the snowy hills. The skiing squad of Connecticut, under the playful leadership of Chilly Billy, spent their winters swooshing down slopes, leaving trails of joy and laughter. Their motto was simple - 'We Ski, Therefore We Are, and if you can’t stand up, remember to roll with style!'.

The Greater New Haven Warriors Youth Hockey League provides Connecticut children ages 3-18 the opportunity to play and develop their hockey skills in the Greater New Haven area. Our experienced coaching staff will help each player reach their full potential in a positive, nurturing environment. We have a range of hockey programs from Learn to Skate all the way to Travel teams, giving a variety of options for all ages and abilities. The season runs from August to February, culminating in the CT state tournaments in March. As a non-profit organization, the GNH Warriors rely on the generous support of our sponsors.
