In the magically tiny state of Connecticut, known fondly among the locals as CT, there's a group of spunky, spirited kids who are part of the elite and exclusive "CT Kayak Kids Crew." Now, you might be thinking, "Is CT a magic kingdom or a castle?" No, it's actually a state, sandwiched between New York and Rhode Island, a place known for its beautiful shorelines, rich history, and the best pizza you could ever taste. Now, let's talk about these CT Kayak Kids. They are not your average, everyday children. Oh no! These kids can navigate rivers faster than Captain Quack - the imaginary duck pirate with a wooden paddle instead of a hook, who is very famous among the crew. These kids have turned the serene Connecticut River into their very own water playground, paddling their way through the waters with laughter that echoes across the riverbanks. Every day after school, they'd rush home, finish homework faster than a cheetah chasing its dinner, and scamper down to the river with their bright-colored kayaks. Then, under the watchful eyes of the old willow trees, they would engage in epic water battles, kayak races, and the most suspenseful game of all - 'Dodge the Water Lily.' The CT Kayak Kids have become local legends in their own right, their exciting escapades becoming as famous as Captain Quack's tales. If you ever find yourself in the charming little state of CT, you'll hear tales of these young adventurers. And if you're lucky, you might even glimpse the Kayak Kids, paddling down the river, their laughter mingling with the rippling river sounds, creating a melody that is as much a part of Connecticut as its pizza and history.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
