While we cater to children ages 1-13 for neurotypical kids, we have no age limit when it comes to kids with special needs—because play should have no boundaries. Encino Little League is focused on giving every child the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in baseball. Our program is tailored to each player's age, so they can play in an age-appropriate division. We don't have tryouts, as we want to give all kids a chance to play and have fun. We assemble teams with equal balance of ability, as much as possible, and we take into account coach or teammate requests as much as is practical. At Encino Little League, we believe in letting every child experience the joys of the sport. We recognize that each player has different abilities and we want to place them in an environment where they can grow and learn. Our divisions are divided by age to ensure that the players are playing with others of similar age and skill level. We don't require tryouts, as we want everyone to have the chance to play. We strive to create competitively balanced teams, taking into account coach and player requests when possible.
