They journey on paper boats, live in cardboard castles, and create an enchanting world that only they understand. Each day is a riot of colors, a symphony of creativity, and a cacophony of laughter. And, oh boy, the mess they make! But in AL, messy is the new cool. And so, Artie and his gang, with their vivid imaginations and artful hands, paint the town red... and blue... and green... and every color you can think of! Together, they make Alabama the most vibrant and happiest state in the world.

Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly began as a dream in the 1940s, but in 1951, the first campers got the chance to experience the beauty of Blue Lake. Instead of modern cabins, they had to make do with tents and a campfire for their meals. Fast-forward to today, and Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly has grown into a bustling destination for campers of all ages. Three modern camps, Pinewood, Dogwood, and Oakwood, provide a total of 525 beds for overnight guests. The Assembly also serves as a retreat center for church and youth groups, and can accommodate special needs guests.
