The Madison Ballet is the resident ballet company of the Overture Center for the Arts and Wisconsin’s second largest dance organization. Through their work, they bring world-class ballet to the greater Madison area, training the next generation of world-class dancers and inspiring all generations of audiences. They offer opportunities to experience the power of dance, on and off the stage, for all ages, genders, and races. Madison Ballet pioneers change within its community, introducing and creating a culture of connection, collaboration, and change that touches the lives of over 20,000 people each year. They provide an invaluable, enriching arts experience, and strive for growth for their community by providing access, engagement, and exposure to ballet. ME & MY PARENT

Toddlers and a parent or caretaker dance together while focusing on rhythm, movement, music, and fun! Students learn dance movements while developing healthy toddler bodies and coordination. Exercises focus on body awareness, gross motor skills, and self expression. Children must be at least 18 months old on or before their first day of enrollment.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Creative Movement teaches rhythm and coordination through a variety of engaging movement exercises. The curriculum is carefully designed to gently introduce these students to a structured and safe classroom environment, while instilling in them the confidence to imagine and explore. Creative play enhances the development of fine and gross motor skills as children leap, stretch, coordinate, isolate, and move to music. Social skills are developed through activities that reward collaboration and cooperation. Children must be at least 3 years old on or before their first day of enrollment.

BRAVO BOYS

Strike your balance between grace and strength! Open to all male-identifying students, Bravo Boys classes are taught at an introductory level focused on body alignment, posture, and isometric muscle development, while fostering a love for dance and creative expression.
