About Camp Woodland For Girls
At Camp Woodland, girls have the opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, take on new challenges and discover their strengths in a supportive environment. Our campers learn real-life skills that will help them in their future endeavors. They gain confidence as they explore their interests, build relationships and develop their unique talents.
We strive to create an environment where girls feel safe to express themselves, take risks and be authentically who they are. Girls at Camp Woodland are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone and explore their potential. Our counselors provide guidance and support to help each camper reach her highest potential.
Camp Woodland is an incredible summer experience that helps girls become confident, independent thinkers with the skills and strength needed to reach their goals. We make sure to create a space that allows each girl to express her uniqueness and develop her own personal leadership style.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Evening Program
Evening programs are different all the time! Campfires, movie night, zumba, yoga cabin night, performing arts shows, yoga and inter-camp competitions are just a few activities we offer in the evenings. Try something you didn’t have time to do during the day.
Gymnastics
On our outdoor gymnastics court, girls build focus, grace and strength while they improve their acrobatic abilities on the uneven bars, low and high balance beam and tumbling mat. Be creative! Develop your own routines and join the stunt club with aerials or front rolls.
Outdoor Adventure
Campers are intrigued by beautiful, abundant wildlife in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Everyone gets a chance to go on an overnight camping trip, eat s’mores , and sleep outdoors in a tent. There are campfires and cookouts every week and if you like animals sign-up for our zoo and nature program. Excursions to a Ropes course and Lake Superior for our Explorers North sailing trip compliment the outdoor adventure program.
