About Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts

At the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, we believe in the power of the arts to transform lives. We strive to create a vibrant destination for the Greater Milwaukee community, where everyone is welcome to explore new art forms, connect with the artist and each other, and experience the joy of artistic expression. Our educational programs, performances, exhibitions, and competitions offer something for everyone, with the goal of inspiring a lifetime of learning and exploration.

GET ARTY! (AGES 5-12)
Have fun and get arty this winter but this session each time we meet we will be making a project for animals in need! Each workshop will have a different project that we will donate to Wildlife in Need in Oconomowoc, HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County), or Safe Harbor Humane Society in Kenosha. Don’t worry, we will make a small project to take home as well!  January- Prrr-fect Pompoms, February- Munching on Mache, March- Tuggie Toy Time, and April- Eggcellent Cat Entertainment. Your young artist is encouraged to wear clothes that can get messy.

TODDLER ART TIME (AGES 2 TO 4 W/CAREGIVER)
Enjoy quality creative time with your little ones. Classes begin with shared group activities related to a reading. Themes this season will include Koalas, Silly Dogs, Colors, and Construction Sites.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC EXPLORATIONS (AGES 0-4)
Early Childhood music exploration classes are a fun way to help your child discover the joy of music making— while giving them a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning.
