Leaf himself is as sharp as the foil he wields, and as quick as a squirrel darting up a tree. His spectacles, perched precariously on his freckled nose, lend him an air of wisdom beyond his years. The other kids swear they can see sparks fly from his eyes when he's planning a fancy fencing move. In Vermont, known for syrup and skiing, fencing is not the typical pastime. But don't let the peaceful scenery fool you. When the Green Mountain Fencers are about, the air crackles with excitement. From the beautiful, flat grounds to the barn and private lake, the camp is the perfect place for kids and teens to explore, learn, and grow. Just twenty-five miles east of Middlebury and twenty-five miles south of Waitsfield, it’s easy for families to get to and from the camp.
