We are wholeheartedly committed to inspiring each and every camper and staff member to experience God in a transformative way. We aim to foster an environment where they can live their faith with joy and confidence. Our unique Catholic camp ministry is the cornerstone of this commitment, enriched by faith formation and fellowship, and set against the backdrop of the awe-inspiring beauty of God's creation. The spiritual life at our camp is deeply rooted in the Sacraments. Regular Mass celebrations form part of our routine, and our chapel is always open for those who wish to visit the Blessed Sacrament. We are also blessed with the presence of priests who serve as chaplains, providing the Sacraments and promoting fellowship. Our staff is filled with boundless passion and enthusiasm to share the joy of faith with our campers. The presence of Jesus is not confined to the chapel at The Pines. His spirit is felt in every corner of the camp, from the exhilarating peak of the zipline to the tranquil paths winding through the grounds. He is present in each conversation and resonates in the breathtaking beauty of the natural world surrounding us!

Environmental Education

Environmental Education (EE) covers principles of religion, science, math, language and history. EE is also designed to enrich and enhance the current classroom curriculum through teaching in an outdoor classroom setting. Classes include forestry, archaeology, limnology, meteorology, entomology, orienteering, and solar energy. We integrate the teachings of the Church, saint stories and Scripture study to enhance the knowledge of the students and open eyes to see how God is at work in our environment. Mass for the groups is celebrated upon request, and there is also an opportunity to experience the double zip line.

Confirmation Retreats

During this time, we focus on prayer, forgiveness, community involvement, and the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. This experience is custom-designed by our staff with you, the group leader, to meet the individual needs of your group. Mass is a wonderful part of the experience and we can set up reconciliation to allow the young people to experience healing as well. For a dynamic experience we can add our ropes course programming and process how stepping outside of our comfort zone can allow us to live those gifts we receive. Leadership Retreats

During this retreat, campers come to know Jesus is a deeper way through experiential learning and through the witness of our missionaries. This brings to them to an awareness that we are being called to be servant leaders as Jesus was. The three-day experience is custom designed with our camp staff to fulfill your goals. Opportunities to experience the challenge course (double zip line, climbing wall, and our low ropes team building exercises) are included.
