Tennessee, where the clouds give high-fives to the Smoky Mountains, and the Mississippi River plays tag with the land, is the home to some pretty amazing kids. These aren't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill, breakfast-cereal-munching kids. No, sir! These are the sharp-eyed, steady-handed, arrow-slinging kids of the Tennessee Junior Archery League! They meet under the watchful eye of the league's coach, a hoot of a character called Ol' Bullseye Billy. Now, Billy has a mustache so bushy, you'd think a squirrel made it its winter home. His laugh, loud and rumbling, sounds like a thunderstorm rolling down the valley. He has an eye sharper than the pointy end of an arrow and a heart as big as a bear. With a twinkle in his eye, he teaches these kids the art of archery. Underneath the green canopy of age-old trees, the kids practice pulling back their bows, their keen eyes focused on the targets. One could hear the plink and twang of the bows releasing arrows, followed by the satisfying thud as they hit the bull's eye. These young archers are as diverse as the wildlife in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some are as swift as the red foxes, calculating each shot with precision. Others move in slow motion, like the wise old box turtles, taking their time to perfect their aim. Every day, these Tennessee kids, with bows in hand and quivers at their sides, are not just learning to aim at targets, they are also aiming for greatness, one arrow at a time. So, if you ever find yourself in the lovable land of Tennessee, remember to bewared of the arrow-slinging, half-squirrel-taming, thunder-laughing kids and their legendary coach, Ol' Bullseye Billy!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
