About YWCA Summer Adventure Camp

At YWCA Rhode Island, we strive to eliminate racism and empower women in all aspects of life. Through our innovative programs, such as Rosie's Girls STEM skills and the Fantastic Girltastic Code Company™, we are providing young girls with the opportunity to develop vital skills and build community among those who work for racial justice. Our annual Stand Against Racism event is a great example of our commitment to creating a more equitable future. At YWCA Rhode Island, we are proud of our impact on gender equality and racial justice. We are committed to harnessing the potential of every woman in order to create real change. Our programs, such as Rosie's Girls STEM skills and the Fantastic Girltastic Code Company™, provide young girls with the opportunity to gain important skills and knowledge. YWCA Summer Adventure Camp Program
We offer statewide programming with campus locations in Central Falls, Providence and Woonsocket. Our offerings include childcare, health education, GED and life skills for teen parents, physical activity and socialization for the young, adult and teen sports, women's political empowerment, financial literacy and more. YWCA provides case management for women with disabilities at our permanent supportive housing program – Sarah Frances Grant Homestead and for veterans at our transitional housing program – Gateway to Independence.
