About The Center for Dynamic Learning

At The Center for Dynamic Learning, we are dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential. Through our science, art, and theatre programs, we provide a unique learning environment that encourages creative thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. Our curriculum is designed to help youth gain critical thinking, reading comprehension and oral communication skills, as well as to develop their professional skills so that they are better prepared for the workforce. Every semester, we offer 28-35 programs, providing over 100 youth with work experience each summer and 60 throughout the academic year. We are proud to announce that we are in our 18th season of providing youth with the necessary tools to reach their goals.

K-12 STEAMM EDUCATION PROGRAMS
CDL'S Manufacturing Suite Classes - Grades 9-12 This course provides the student with an introduction to industrial fabrication from the viewpoint of mechanical technology. Successful completion of the course will provide the student with the benefits, limitations, and applications of different machine tools and environmentally friendly engineering materials for product manufacturing and fabrication. The adaptability of machinery to a variety of manufacturing processes is studied.

STEAMM POWERED THEATRE PROGRAMS
(Grades K -1) Our youngest friends learn and play in this program that incorporates music and drama with art, creative movement, and lots of fun! (Grades 2-8) A well-rounded youth drama experience, STEAM Powered Theatre programs are unique in that ALL interested youth participate. Enrolled youth audition for placement, and everyone gets a part. Performers rehearse from a script and perform completely with lights, sound, costumes, etc. The program meets a minimum of twice a week for 10 weeks and requires a minimum of 13 youth.​
