Youth Courses
Courses for youth ages 6 to 8 provide a strong grounding in the visual arts and encourage creative and personal growth through self-expression. In the summer, in-person courses on RISD’s campus in Providence, RI create a dynamic environment where students build self-confidence along with a foundation of creative and technical skills.

Youth Courses
Our courses provide a strong grounding in the visual arts, encouraging creative growth through self-expression. Students are taught by outstanding educators, and students get to expand their creative minds, build self-confidence and establish a foundation of technical skills. For youth ages 9 to 12, in-person courses are offered during the summer on RISD’s campus in Providence, RI, and full-day camps are hosted at Tillinghast Place in Barrington, RI.

Youth Courses
From drawing and sculpture to animation and painting, some teenage artists and designers attend RISD CE courses for fun and enrichment, while others have a more academic goal in mind. Online courses run year round while in-person courses are available during the summer on RISD’s campus in Providence, RI.
