The great state of Pennsylvania, PA for short, isn't just known for cheesesteaks or the Liberty Bell. Oh no, my little adventurers, it's a lot more! The landscapes are a jigsaw puzzle of rolling hills, bustling cities, and charming small towns. Imagine a giant sleeping dragon called Penelope, who dozes off under blankets of lush green forests in the summer and snowy white coats in the winter. That's Pennsylvania for you! Now, let's talk about the super-kids of PA who participate in religious service activities. They are not just ordinary kids; think of them as mini-superheroes: the Faithful Crusaders! These smart cookies dedicate their time and energy to learning about different religions, helping at places of worship, and making their communities stronger. Meet Billy, the Prayer Powerboy, who can recite all verses of the Bible faster than a cheetah on a skateboard! Then, there's Sara, the Torah Tornado, who can decode Hebrew scripts while doing a headstand. And let's not forget Aman, the Quran Quake, who is so good at Arabic calligraphy, he could do it in his sleep! But the funniest of them all has to be Larry, the Laughing Lama. No, not a fluffy llama that you can ride, but a Lama as in a Buddhist leader. Larry can chant Buddhist mantras in one breath and crack a joke in the next. His laughter is so infectious that even Penelope, the dragon under Pennsylvania, chuckles in her sleep! Together, they add color, fun, and a lot of laughter to the religious services. They are a testament to the spirit of Pennsylvania, a spirit of unity, understanding, and a whole lot of fun. So, welcome to PA, the land of fun, faith, and fantastic mini superheroes!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
. At Parents Magazine, we believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the supreme and final authority in matters of belief and conduct. We believe that there is one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the substitution for sinful man, rose bodily from the dead and ascended to heaven, and is exalted at God’s right hand as the mediator between God and man. We take these beliefs very seriously and strive to teach our children the importance of these values.
