Pennsylvania, affectionately known as PA, is a magical realm tucked away in the northeastern corner of the United States, where the pizza is always cheesy, the pretzels are always soft, and the kids are as spry as young deer prancing through the woods. This enchanting place is a kingdom of brave young athletes, who regularly converge at the mystical land known as Sportsfield. Now, the heroes of our tale are the kids who participate in the Sportsfield activities. These are no ordinary children, oh no, they are sturdier than a Philly cheesesteak and faster than a Pittsburgh flash-flood. In the world of Sportsfield, they become super-children, soaring through the air to catch frisbees, sprinting faster than gazelles to reach the end zone, and shooting hoops with the precision of a hawk sighting its prey. Meet our star player, the incredible, the unbeatable, the utterly fantastic - Salty Pretzel Pete! Pete, with his twirly moustache (drawn on with a washable marker, of course) and his cap worn backwards like a cool cat, is the unofficial captain of Sportsfield. His superpower? The ability to transform anyone's frown into a belly-full of laughter. He's the jester of the field, the clown with a crown, and his antics are as hilarious as a squirrel wearing roller-skates. He once tried to score a home-run using a rubber chicken. Let's just say, the chicken wasn't very cooperative. So, welcome to PA, dear reader, where the kids are sturdy, the games are hearty, and every day at Sportsfield is a party. Come join Salty Pretzel Pete and his fellow super-kids, and embark on a fun-filled journey of laughter, sports, and memories that will last a lifetime.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
