About JAM Dance Academy

JAM Dance Academy is a top-notch school for professional-based dance training in North Ridgeville, and now offering classes in Lakewood, Ohio, founded by former Ohio Dance Theatre principal dancer, Jennifer Kraynik-Muselin. Our instructors, who all come from an extensive professional background, are passionate about dancing and fully dedicated to sharing the experience with others. Our philosophy is inclusive: we have classes to suit all tastes, and we're happy to accommodate students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're looking to explore an entirely new hobby or wish to refresh some long-lost dance moves, – with JAM Dance Academy, you can be sure that you or your child is getting the desired training we offer. We do take our speciality seriously and if you're looking to learn HOW to dance, we are going to teach you. We believe a students' exposure is the most important aspect of training and encourage our dancers to attend area Master Classes, additional Summer Intensives and audition for outside performance opportunities in addition to the fantastic opportunites we also provide. JAM regularly hosts Master Classes with some of the area's most established dance individuals, in all dance styles, to bring our students the most comprehensive training for this art form. We teach a combination of Russian and Balanchine ballet techniques while focusing on injury prevention and core strengthening. We incorporate elements of Fosse, Taylor, Tharp and Broadway into our choreography; all styles that are the foundation of a well-versed dancer.

Little Jammers I / II

Little Jammers I - Ages 3-4. Introduction to music, rhythm and beats in a fun setting that's not too regimented for the younger student Little Jammers II - For the younger students ages 3-4 who has been introduced to Little Jammers I and needs to be challenged more due to their mental and physical comprehention

Children's Pre-Ballet

Ages 5-7. Combining basic rhythmic movement and music while learning simple ballet terms and beginning steps as a precursor to a full ballet class.

Hip-Hop

A fun, energetic form of dance which allows dancers to perform with freedom of movement while adding their own personalities.
