He's not just a regular boy from Toledo. With his disco-ball helmet, shoes that tie themselves, and a heart as big as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he's a true icon in the Dance Dynamite's universe. Captain Funky Footwork and the Ohio Dance Dynamites are always ready to pop, lock, and drop it! They believe that each river in Ohio beats with a rhythmic flow and every cornfield rustles like a maraca. And so, they dance - in Dayton, in Cleveland, in Columbus, and even in the smallest of Ohio towns. Their dance is not just a regular two-step or a ballet pirouette, it’s a jumble of giggles, wiggles, and Ohio pride, that makes every adult wish they could swing their hips like a hula hoop too. Dance Connection opened in September of 1994 and through hard work and dedication we've become one of area's leading state of the art dance studios!! Our studio is conveniently located at 4125 Main Street, in the heart of Old Hilliard. We now have four separate teaching rooms and a staff of 10 truly dedicated, talented teachers! Our teachers continue to win choreography awards at competitions at the Regional and National level year after year. Our hard-working competition team has become well-known for their stellar performances throughout the competition community. We are proud to say that most of our staff have either been with us since we opened, or are returning students coming back to share their love of dance.
