About Dayton Ballet School South

South Dayton School of Dance is proud to offer classes in classical ballet, jazz, modern, tap, creative movement, pre-ballet and pre-tap for students, ages 3 to adult. We have a wonderful, professional staff, most of whom boast college degrees in dance as well as extensive professional dance experience. We look forward to helping your child obtain his or her artistic goals and hope you consider becoming a part of the South Dayton School of Dance Family!

Princess & Pirates Dance Camp
This summer dance camp is for students ages 5 & 6. At this camp students will learn a dance in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap while also exploring Ballet stories, Dance History, craft making and tons of fun!! Students should bring a snack and Drink to this camp. On Thursday 6/15/23 we will have a pizza party at 10:00 am and then will present a costumed performance to our parents at 11:30 pm. We cant wait to spend the week with your young dancer!

Beginning Dance Camp
This summer dance camp is for students ages 7-9 or who have completed at least one year of our Level 1 classes. At this camp students will learn a dance in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap while also exploring Ballet stories, Dance History, craft making and tons of fun!! Intermediate Intensive
This summer intensive is for dancers who have completed at least one year of Ballet 3, 4, or 5. At this intensive students will learn a full length dance in Ballet, Jazz, and Modern while also exploring Dance History, Ballet vocabulary and tons of fun! Students should bring a lunch, snack, and drink to this camp. On Thursday 7/14/20 we will have a pizza party at 11:00am and then will present a costumed performance to our parents at 1:30pm. We cant wait to spend the week with your young dancer!
