About Eagle Island Camp in Tupper Lake, NY

At Eagle Island, Inc., we are proud to be a part of preserving this beloved summer camp and historic landmark. Our organization was formed in 2011 by an enthusiastic group of alumni and friends, and our membership spans over seven decades. We have been working diligently to ensure that Eagle Island will remain open for future generations to enjoy. We are so grateful for the help of our dedicated staff, campers, family campers, neighbors, and everyone else who has joined us in this mission. Together, we can keep the spirit of Eagle Island alive for years to come. From the 1930s to the 2000s, we look forward to continuing to share our love and appreciation for this special place.

Overnight Camp For girls ages 9—15 yrs

Our small group sizes ensure that our staff gets to know each camper, helping to create programming that fits their interests and needs.

Day Camp For young people ages 7 – 11

All campers will have the opportunity to try a variety of camp activities including swimming, sailing, paddling, nature exploration, crafts, team building, camper-led play, and community building.

Junior Leadership Program Girls ages 15—17 yrs

This two-week program is an opportunity to gain leadership skills while also participating in regular camp activities as a camper. Spend part of your day gaining knowledge on how camp is created by seeing the behind-the-scenes work at summer camp. Learn how working at camp can help you in any future career by participating in special experiences including learning about youth development, professional communication, event planning, team building, resume writing, and meeting with a college prep coach. During your second week, you will get to put what you have learned into action by working with your teammates to create and run a program activity for younger campers. You will also get to participate as a camper in camp activities such as swimming, sailing, paddling, nature, arts and crafts, and more.
