Girls can explore the outdoors and build self-confidence through a variety of traditional camp activities such as swimming, hiking, kayaking, and more. Friends of Camp Little Notch have created a breathtaking paradise for campers to enjoy. With 443 acres of pristine Adirondack wilderness and a private 80-acre lake, the property is ideal for a summer camp experience. But Camp Little Notch is more than a summer camp - it offers a range of programming including CLN-sponsored retreats, family programs, and private rentals for individuals, families, weddings, and businesses. These programs aim to connect people with nature while building self-confidence, forming strong relationships, and fostering an appreciation of the natural world.

CIT Ages 15-17

Want to learn what it takes to be a leader at camp, and beyond into your every day life? Enroll in the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program to find out! Under the tutelage of a dedicated staff member, you’ll learn more about yourself and strengthen your leadership skills in areas including group dynamics, decision making and conflict resolution. CITs will take these skills and apply them in a camp setting, with a strong emphasis on the “learning-by-doing” philosophy. CITs will get to shadow a variety of staff roles, work with campers of all ages, and explore what areas of camp interest them most. Over the weekend, CITs will participate in an overnight camp-out off-site. By the end of the two weeks, CITs will work with their staff mentor to create and independently run their own hour-long program. In addition to registration, CITs must complete an application and interview to prepare for the program.

Family Camp

Fully customizable staff-led programming. Each family gets the opportunity to create their own unique schedule of activities - choose from options such as creekwalking, arts & crafts, hiking, field games, outdoor skills (firebuilding, shelterbuilding, etc), sailing and more.
