Classes for Young Children and Introductory Instrumental Classes

AGES3 MONTHS - 7 YEARS Our early childhood music classes are designed to encourage joy, fun, and active participation. Through singing, poetry, rhythmic exploration, and movement, we help children discover music, learn to keep the beat, and develop their imagination and creativity. An ideal introduction of music to young children in a fun and welcoming environment!

Private Music Instruction

AGES3+ Private instruction with the Thurnauer School of Music is designed to meet the needs of each individual student. All private lesson programs include student performance opportunities for soloists and ensembles, accompanist, and student admission to all concerts and master classes held at Thurnauer.

Instrumental Group Classes

For students taking private music lessons, the Thurnauer School of Music offers a variety of classes designed to enhance students’ understanding and enjoyment of music. We offer instrumental groups in violin, flute, cello, clarinet, percussion, piano, guitar, and saxophone.
