About YWCA Bergen County

YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world. For over a century, YWCA Northern New Jersey has been on the forefront of the fight against gender and racial discrimination. We work to build more just and inclusive communities through programs for women and girls, anti-racism training, and policy advocacy. We operate healingSPACE, Bergen County’s only Sexual Violence Resource Center. We also are one of the area’s largest providers of child care services and senior wellness programs.

We believe that child care is community care, and it is our goal to provide intentionally affordable, high quality programming. We’re committed to providing safe and enriching experiences for children that facilitate cognitive, social, physical, and emotional growth. All of our programs are licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Children and Families.

SUMMER CAMPS
Our ACA accredited camp programs provide families with a high-quality summer camp experience at an intentionally affordable price for children 5 – 12 years old. YWCamps are the ideal place to make new friends, develop new skills, and build self-confidence. All of our activities incorporate language arts and math to support campers academically during the summer months.
