About The Source Dance Lab

At The Source Dance Lab, we strive to create an atmosphere of athleticism and artistry. Each student is encouraged to reach their full potential with a combination of love and discipline. We offer classes for both competitive and non-competitive dancers alike. Since opening our doors, The Source Dance Lab has attracted both dancers and athletes looking to grow their skills. Our founders, Courtney and Ashley, are college graduates with degrees in Education and Special Education, but are also well-experienced in their own dance and sports backgrounds. Courtney has been trained by the Royal Academy of Dance, England chapter, in ballet and has appeared in productions with celebrities such as Kelly Rowland, Ja Rule, and KTU. Ashley is certified in US Gymnastics and cheered for a National Winning College Team. We are proud and excited to be entering our 8th year at The Source Dance Lab in Palisades Park, NJ, and our 3rd year at our second location, The Source Central, in Old Bridge, NJ. We look forward to continuing to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere for dancers to explore their passions.

Petite Ballet

This class is perfect for all of our little dancers who dream of dancing around in a tutu! Join us for a class that allows young dancers to build a Ballet foundation to begin and grow for years to come.

Ballet & Tap Combo

This combo class is perfect combo between 30 mins of ballet & 30 mins of the intro to Tap. This introduction to dance class will be sure to entertain your 5-7 year old’s attention while learning the next steps in ballet and the fun steps in Tap!

Contemporary

Contemporary comes from Ballet. Contemporary is typically danced to slower music, instrumental, and/or acoustic. Contemporary allows dancers to find their artistic movement while exploring a new approach to movement while applying their ballet training.
