About Maywood Dance Center

At Maywood Dance Center, we are committed to providing our students with the best experience possible when it comes to dance instruction. Our staff is highly skilled and always available to answer your questions with the personal touch. We have a suspended wood floor that ensures the safety of our dancers. Our reputation of providing quality instruction and commitment to our students has been built up over many years. We offer our classes at very competitive prices, with multiple class discounts available. Our studio is a great environment for both young and old to come and learn to dance.

Ballet & Pointe
This is the foundation for all dance, which develops strength and solid technique. Pointework with approval only.

Lyrical & Contemporary
This is an interpretive style combining a variety of technical skills. Ballet is a prerequisite for this class. Also an age requirement.

Tiny Dancers
For students aged 2–5 the D.R.E.A.M. program is a wonderful experience. Toddlers and preschooler classes combine dance technique with song. Tumbling skills develop gross and perceptual motor skills, discipline, and music/movement appreciation, all within a fun and nurturing environment.
