About Camp Kipanga

Through this program, they’ll learn important life skills in a positive, supportive environment. Kipanga and Camp Katikati are two exceptional summer camps that offer children and tweens with social deficits the extra help they need to have a fun and successful camp experience. From swimming to art, theater to science, yoga to cooking, there are plenty of activities to keep campers engaged and learning all summer long. With a focus on socialization and positive reinforcement, these camps are sure to be a memorable and rewarding experience for every camper!

JUNIOR PROGRAM (AGES 5-12)
Located on the beautiful grounds of Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ, Camp Kipanga is excited to provide summer camp fun for children who are ages 5- 13. This camp is designed for children who struggle with peer relationships, impulse control, fitting in with others, coping with emotions, and related difficulties. We offer children with social deficits the extra support they need to have a positive and successful summer experience. The counselors are trained to support children with social deficits and campers benefit from a 1:3 staff-to-camper ratio.

SENIOR PROGRAM (AGES 13-18)
Total Teen Experience is a dynamic summer program for adolescents, ages 13-21 who struggle with peer relationships, impulse control, fitting in with others, coping with emotions and other related difficulties. For six weeks of the summer, your teen will learn skills that will last them a lifetime!
