About Michele's Dance Studio

We work hard to create an atmosphere of respect and goodwill between parents, students, and faculty. We recognize that everyone has their unique ideas about how best to support a child’s learning. In the end, however, our goal is the same - to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students to learn and grow. We believe this can be achieved through positive relationships and open communication. By setting a high standard of respect for all, we can ensure that our students receive the education and support they need.

New 5s Hip Hop (K&1st grade)
Using current popular music, the course emphasizes traditional Hip Hop styles, movements and choreography. We teach b-boy traditions such as pop/lock, up rock, boogie, and six step alongside contemporary styles and tricks like those seen in music videos and on Broadway.

Ballet/Lyrical (1st-2nd)
Ballet consists of classical training including barre and centre work. The traditions of hard work and proper technique are emphasized, and this course provides a foundation for many other movement avenues such as jazz, lyrical, tap, and more. Lyrical dance expresses the message or mood of the music while fusing the techniques of ballet, jazz, and modern.

Acro (Pre-School)
Acro is a style of dance that combines dance technique and acrobatic elements. Students will learn the fundamentals of acrobatic movement as well as develop skills in flexibility, contortion, balance, and tumbling.
