About Njswim Lakeside

At Njswim we believe in the idea of year-round rolling memberships. Students enrolled in Njswim will be led through a series of safety skills that are designed to enhance the aquatic experience and instill self-confidence in a safe and positive atmosphere. In most locations we offer a rolling school year program September through June and Summer Intensive Programs. We do not offer sessions as we believe that learning happens best when children have continued, guidance, without interruption.

Water Babies 3 – 30 MONTHS (8:1)
In this class your water baby will be introduced to water acclimation, breath control and coordination. Introductory skills include: floating, balance, buoyancy, and comfort.

Pre-Pre | Preschool
The Journey Continues (3:1) This level is the first level independent of their parents with the teacher. Skills include breath control, supported floating and how to enter and exit the pool safely.

Level 1
Aquatic Adaptation (3:1) This level is geared to provide a solid base of swimming experience for the first- time swimmer. Breath control, buoyancy, supported kicking & paddling, submerging, and the fundamentals of proper body positions are the key skills for the beginner swimmer.
