About Arete Music Academy

Located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, Arete Music Academy is the perfect place to nurture your inner musician. Our 300 talented students come from nearby neighborhoods, such as Fort Lee, Edgewater, Tenafly, and Palisades Park. Our faculty is comprised of experienced and dedicated teaching artists who have received their formal training from prestigious programs, such as The Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, Curtis Institute of Music, and Columbia University. We offer a variety of programs for children and adults of all ages, from early childhood music classes to beginner instrumental group classes. Our faculty also offers chamber ensemble, vocal ensemble, summer program, and seminars for adults. To top it off, we host faculty and student concerts throughout the year. Sing Me a Story Age Group: 2-3
This “mommy & me” class is designed to encourage music-making and imaginative play through interactive storytelling. Each class will include a movement warm-up, sing-alongs, a new or classic children's story, as well as various music activities designed around the story of the day. Through singing, dancing, and instrument exploration, your child will learn new vocabulary, core musical concepts, and the social skills necessary to prepare them for school.

PRIVATE VIOLIN LESSONS Age Group: 4+
One-on-one private lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Lessons meet once a week for 16 weeks per semester or 32 weeks per school year. Fall semester starts from mid-September to the end of January.
