About Allegro Arts Academy

Allegro Arts Academy vision is founded by the dream of promoting the love of artistic expression. It is our mission to pass on this passion for the arts to children of all ages so that they may develop a well rounded and cultured spirit to succeed in every aspect of their lives. We offer smaller class sizes which enables a student to get more individual instruction from a teacher and results in greater progress over a shorter period of time. Maintaining class sizes also ensures that the teacher can catch problems before they turn into bad habits or improper technique.

Twinkle Tots Ages 3-4

Is an hour introductory dance class containing ballet, tap and creative movement. Young dancers will learn the basic steps while learning how to follow directions and imitate movement in a positive environment. The use of props such as dance bears, hula hoops and maracas, enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!

Ballet

Both barre and center work is used in Ballet to develop grace, flexibility, balance, alignment, and strength. Ballet combines the enjoyment of movement, expression and sensitivity to music along with discipline. It is a basis for all dance.

Lyrical/Contemporary

This class concentrates on proper alignment, use of breath, quality of structural form, oppositional energy, moving through space, directional changes, fall and recovery, speed and performance quality.
