About Standing Ovation School of Dance

At Standing Ovation School of Dance, we have been providing quality instruction for 29 years! Our classes are both fun and educational; we focus on teaching proper technique from the start. Our facility offers three dance rooms with sprung marley flooring, mirrors, barres, and professional sound systems. Our staff is truly outstanding, with either professional performing backgrounds, college degrees, or professional training. Our teachers have a passion for teaching dance to children that is evident in their classes and at our end of the year recital. We believe that dance is a great way to teach children important life lessons. Many of our students go on to pursue professional careers in dance, and some even return home after college or performing to join our staff. Our diverse staff makes our dancers adaptable to any situation, and helps them learn all styles of dance.

Classes
Our Studio offers many different types of classes for ages 2 1/2 and up. Our youngest dancers begin in the "Intro to Dance" program and then progress onto classes of their choice. All dancers are placed according to age and ability. Dancers are welcome to begin their love of dance at any age!
