About Camp Foss

The YMCA Camp Foss community provides a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. Through the camp's experienced and knowledgeable staff, campers are encouraged to explore, create, and grow. They learn essential life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and respect. Campers also participate in a variety of outdoor activities and games, such as hiking, campfires, and sports. These activities provide campers with the opportunity to build relationships and develop a sense of teamwork as they work together to achieve common goals. Through camp activities, campers learn to be independent and take responsibility for their actions. They also learn important values such as respect for others, respect for the environment, and respect for themselves. YMCA Camp Foss is dedicated to providing an inclusive and diverse experience for all campers. Campers attend three activity periods in the morning where they rotate between Recreation, Waterfront, and Hobbies areas.

In the afternoon, campers have two periods where they choose from a variety of activities. Arts & Crafts Cooking Class High & Low Ropes and many more!
