About Turning Pointe Center of Dance

For 40 years, Turning Pointe Center of Dance (TPCD) has been enriching the lives of dancers near Concord. Conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the town line, TPCD is the perfect place for your child to learn the art of dance. At TPCD, our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for students of all levels. We strive to create a strong foundation of dance knowledge and technique, as well as the appreciation of individual creative expression. Our classes are designed to develop both technical knowledge and individual creative expression, all while having fun! Our teachers are committed to fostering the true beauty, grace, strength and spirit of dance in our students. For four decades, Turning Pointe Center of Dance has been providing excellent dance education in a creative, collaborative, and child-friendly atmosphere. We are proud to have helped generations of dancers near Concord reach their potential as artists. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned dancer, TPCD is the perfect place to begin or continue your journey into the magical world of dance.

Ballet
The study of ballet is the foundation for learning all forms of dance. There is no substitute for good ballet training. All dancers who want to have strong technique, good placement and proper body alignment must study ballet.

This class encompasses strength and flexibility warm-ups with a strong emphasis on technique. Combinations incorporate many styles of dance: Broadway, Musical Theater, and Contemporary Modern choreography.

Lyrical/Contemporary
Lyrical Dance is a fusion of ballet and jazz techniques blended together to express the thoughts, emotion and story that the lyrics of the song are telling through the choreography and movement.
