About Camp PA-GON-KI

Campers can experience the great outdoors, learn new skills, make lifelong friends, and create unforgettable memories. Each week, campers can enjoy fun activities such as swimming, canoeing, fishing, and archery as well as special theme-based events. Campers can also learn the camp cheer and take part in traditional camp songs. With the guidance of experienced staff, campers can develop important skills such as teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving, while building lasting friendships and gaining a greater appreciation for the natural world. At the YMCA of Greater Londonderry, our Traditional Camps provide an unforgettable summer experience. Campers can explore the outdoors, take part in fun activities, learn new skills, and create lasting memories with their newfound friends. With experienced staff and special theme-based events each week, campers will have the opportunity to learn something new, make friends, and build lasting memories.

Saplings (PreK - K)

The fun begins early for our youngest campers entering Pre-K and Kindergarten. With a smaller ratio, camp is designed with hands-on learning and fun in mind. A variety of activities including crafts, songs, and games are centered around weekly themes to engage curious campers. Swimming and outside play are a highlight of the summer camp for this age group.

Elms, Pines, Maples, Oaks, Willows (Grades 1-8)

A traditional day camp where campers spend the summer in the outdoors experiencing a wide variety of activities with opportunities to create new friendships and appreciate the natural world around them! Each week, campers participate in camp-wide special theme-based events and enjoy unique camp traditions such as learning the camp cheer and other favorite camp songs. Our talented staff provide the opportunity for campers to learn something new, make friends, and build lasting memories. Activities for Elms, Pines, and Maples are designed to build confidence, encourage exploration into new areas, and discover untapped talents. Oaks & Willows activities emphasize independence and learning the importance of team building and leadership skills.
