His humorous remarks and funny antics kept the team entertained and their spirits high. Spiky was also the best coach any kid could wish for. He knew every trick in the volleyball book and could serve, spike, and set like a pro. He could jump higher than a kangaroo on a trampoline, spin faster than a top on a polished floor, and his serves were like lightning strikes, fast and unexpected. So, the kids of New Hampshire and their volleyball coach, Spiky, spent their days training, laughing, and loving the game.
