INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
This is the first step in the therapy process and required of all individuals prior to participating in an individual or family therapy session. This initial session involves music or art activities as well as client or parent/guardian interviews as the therapist assesses each individual's strengths and needs. Following the evaluation, your therapist will sit down with you to discuss their findings. They will confirm strengths and areas of need observed in an evaluation report. In addition, they will discuss their recommended treatment plan. A treatment plan outlines the specific goals and objectives for an individual. Session duration and frequency are determined during the initial therapy evaluation session. Once therapy begins, your therapist will keep track of progress on goals and add goals as needed or recommend termination of services. The providers at the Sonatina Center provide reports of progress for all clients on a quarterly basis.

YOUTH MUSIC THERAPY GROUPS
The youth music therapy groups focus on building social and communication skills, self-esteem, and self-confidence. Groups are offered by age ranges and participants are screened for individual needs and appropriateness for the group environment. Each 8-12 week session is developed around the individual strengths and needs of the participants with active, age-appropriate, music making experiences such as improvising on instruments, songwriting, singing, moving to music, and music games.

FAMILY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
GROOVE & GROW MUSIC (Ages Crawling to 4 Years Old w/Caregiver) Groove & Grow is a fun and unique music enrichment program for families. Designed by board-certified music therapist, Marissa Scott, the curriculum focuses on strengthening parent-child relationships and building strong social-emotional skills. Toddlers and young children awaken to their world through creativity, imagination, and play. During classes, children will build trust, explore and master a sense of control through musical play, while fostering meaningful relationships with caregivers, siblings, and peers. Little ones will have opportunities to sing, play instruments, dance, move to music and of course have a lot of fun!
