About The Children's Museum of New Hampshire

At the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, we’ve made tremendous progress since moving to our new location over a decade ago. Our Board, staff, and community have come together to expand our exhibit area, diversify our program offerings, and create an environment that works to meet the needs of families. Now, as we look to the future, we’re even more committed to providing our guests with a memorable experience. Our three-year Strategic Plan is designed to build upon our existing strengths and help us reach new heights. We’re focusing on ways to enhance our exhibits, become more environmentally friendly, increase our marketing efforts, and invest in a quality staff team. With this plan in place, we look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come.

Scienceart Junior Science
Classes will be held in the STEAM Lab, and families with siblings may opt to play on the second floor during the class time from 1:30-2:15pm. Please note that the museum is closed to the public on Tuesday afternoons. Grown-ups are welcome to stay in the building during class time.

Exhibit Explorers
Kids ages 5+, along with their grown-ups, are invited to be exhibit explorers at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire. Each month the museum offers a workshop that will highlight a different exhibit at the museum with a 40-minute guided lesson followed by in-depth exhibit exploration with a museum educator. After the guided activities, participants can stay and play for the last hour of the play session.
