About The Voice Studio

For Danielle Jean, music has always been a part of her life. It was her Grandfather, a sought after jazz Bassist and Guitarist, who recognized her talent and fostered her love for music as a small child. She began formal study with some of the Boston area's best teachers and was active in the exceptional Music Department at Pinkerton Academy. After graduating from Pinkerton Academy, she furthered her studies at the University of Massachusetts. With over seventeen years of experience, Danielle has been teaching vocalists of all ages and sharing her love of music. Her goals for her students are to help them reach the next level in their vocal journey and to be a part of their musical accomplishments.

Vocal Training
Students are taught in the classical method, allowing them the utmost versatility as a singer. This is combined with allowing the student to take the lead in choosing songs they LIKE to sing. The Voice Studio believes students are more excited to learn using songs they enjoy, and they are far more likely to practice during the week between lessons if they enjoy what they're singing! Each student has their own goals and reasons for seeking out vocal training. Therefore, each lesson is tailored to the individual student to help them achieve those goals and develop their very best voice.

Audition Preparation
Many students come to us because they've gotten involved in local or regional theater and are setting their sites on better roles. The Voice Studio will help you find the perfect audition song, help you perfect each note and incorporate choreography (when appropriate) to help you best perform your piece. We also assist in finding and learning the perfect monologue when needed. Our students have outstanding success in local and regional theater, and you can, too!

Students interested in learning to play an instrument also learn basic music theory. We make learning exciting at The Voice Studio, incorporating fun songs, games and flash cards to keep the student interested and engaged in the learning process. Miss Sam teaches students of all ages and levels and offers intro group classes for students interested in giving lessons a try. Miss Sam is a passionate musician and teacher and she is beloved by students and parents alike. She helps make sure learning is fun and positive at The Voice Studio!
