About Barry Conservation Camp 4-H

And the Barry Conservation 4-H Camp (BCC) is a great way to do just that. BCC offers a unique setting for kids to explore the outdoors, develop hands-on learning skills, and discover their individual strengths. Located in the White Mountain National Forest, the camp is run by the UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H Program in cooperation with the NH Department of Fish & Game. Six cabins provide an intimate environment for campers to learn and grow. At BCC, youth are encouraged to take part in personal development activities and community service projects. Through completing these activities, campers are able to gain valuable life skills and learn how to become self-directed and productive members of society. BCC provides a fun, safe environment for kids to learn and grow. With programs designed to foster an appreciation for the outdoors, develop hands-on learning skills, and discover their individual strengths, it’s no wonder that Barry Conservation 4-H Camp is a top-notch program for all ages.

Hunter Education
July 17–22 Ages 12-16 Join NH Fish and Game Department Hunter Education staff, volunteer instructors and camp counselors to learn and practice safe, responsible and ethical hunting.

North Country Adventure
July 24–29 Ages 12-16 Campers will track wildlife, go on a canoe or backpacking adventure, learn about trapping, practice survival skills,navigate with compass and GPS, practice hunting skills, and more.

*NEW* 4-H Shooting Sports
July 31 – August 5 Ages 14-17 Join us for a week centered on the NH 4-H Shooting Sports program. This week is geared towards older kids.
