Sewing is a wonderful hobby that many parents may not be aware of for their children. That being said, one local Waxhaw mom has been teaching the craft for over a decade. After starting out in her bonus room in her home, she opened Thimble Bee, a storefront off Providence in 2014. She has been blessed to meet so many wonderful families in the Charlotte area and hopes that those who come to Thimble Bee find it to be a safe and comfortable place to learn and grow in their skill. This mom of Waxhaw fell in love with sewing when she was fourteen and has been passionate about it ever since. After thirteen years of teaching, she now has the privilege of having a storefront off Providence in Charlotte. Her students have come from far and wide, and she is so grateful for the relationships she has built with them. She loves to see her students progress and hopes that Thimble Bee provides the perfect environment for them to learn and grow in their skills.
