About Camp Kanata

At Camp Kanata, campers will build lifelong friendships, discover new talents and explore the outdoors. Our traditional overnight camp experience is sure to create lasting memories and provide children with skills they can take home with them. Camp Kanata is the perfect place for kids to have fun and grow. With activities like archery, swimming, creative arts and water sports, campers can develop their skills and make lasting memories. Our 15-acre lake offers canoeing, kayaking and a 75-foot double waterslide, providing plenty of opportunity to explore the outdoors. We understand the importance of safety and strive to provide a secure and supportive environment. Our 1:5 counselor-to-camper ratio ensures that each camper receives the attention they need and establishes a connection with our knowledgeable and caring staff. At Camp Kanata, campers can develop their confidence and leadership skills while having a summer of fun. Our traditional overnight camp experience provides the perfect opportunity to make new friends and discover hidden talents. Overnight Camp
When kids are away from home and away from parents and everyday friends, they grow. New experiences, new friends and new challenges shape campers into confident, independent kids. Campers, ages 6 - 15, gain confidence in themselves and who they are by making independent decisions about their day and activities. Our camper-to-counselor ratio is 5:1, and campers develop strong bonds with their counselors. In turn, counselors help campers reach their goals. Camp Kanata is intentionally rustic. From our wooden cabins and bunks to our no electronics policy, campers connect with each other in the real world – face-to-face and friend-to-friend – during activities, meals and evening cabin time.

Day Camp
Day campers enjoy the same natural surroundings and programming that make Kanata such a popular place for summer overnight camping. Kanata Summer Day Camp runs from 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Friday and is filled with daily swimming, assemblies, and activities. We offer nine one-week sessions for rising grades 1 - 8 (ages 5-13). Our staff to child ratio is 1:10.

Weekend Camp
Camp Kanata Weekend Camps are held from Friday evening through Sunday morning and are filled with the best activities we have to offer. First-time campers get a chance to discover Kanata, while veteran campers reconnect with their friends and counselors from the summer.
