This is the perfect place to explore and appreciate the many facets of art with the family.
And if you’re looking for more than just a visual experience, classes and workshops are held outside of the gallery’s hours for a chance to create art of your own.
Mooresville Arts is proudly situated on the corner of W. Center Ave and Main St in the heart of downtown Mooresville. Come explore and get lost in the beauty of art!
The workshop is geared toward those who enjoy watercolor painting. It is recommended you have a basic understanding of watercolor media and its essentials. Students will create a large painting and move, step by step, and ultimately completeing a large floral painting in bold colors. The small class and informal setting will encourage students to ask questions, make comments, take notes; and allow time to paint between instructor demos, so they can assimilate and take in the process. Students will learn the importance of color choices to assure luminous color in their creations.
