At Mooresville Arts, located in the historic Depot, an exciting and unique art experience awaits. Recognized by the National Register of Historic Buildings, the gallery displays fine art of all types, with new exhibits on display nearly every month. This is the perfect place to explore and appreciate the many facets of art with the family. And if you’re looking for more than just a visual experience, classes and workshops are held outside of the gallery’s hours for a chance to create art of your own. Watercolor for Intermediate and Advanced Artists

The workshop is geared toward those who enjoy watercolor painting. It is recommended you have a basic understanding of watercolor media and its essentials. Students will create a large painting and move, step by step, and ultimately completeing a large floral painting in bold colors. The small class and informal setting will encourage students to ask questions, make comments, take notes; and allow time to paint between instructor demos, so they can assimilate and take in the process. Students will learn the importance of color choices to assure luminous color in their creations.

Teen Saturday Class

Description: Are you looking for an art class that is geared towards your specific interests? Do you want to take your knowledge and passion for art to a higher level? Then this is the class for you! Mr. Justin differentiates art lessons that are structured for each student and what they are passionate about! Examples of different art styles that can be learned in class are… digital painting, animation, character and environment design, comics, fashion, vehicle designs, people and animal portraits, graphic design, and much more!
