Dance, especially when implemented at a young age, helps both mind and body to develop. Development of motor skills, improved coordination, rhythm, and strength are all benefits of dance. Alongside such physical benefits dancers, through practice and performance, gain and develop confidence in themselves. In all areas of life, certain skills are important in order to be successful — dance teaches problem solving, perseverance, and teamwork. A dedication to the art of dance produces better leadership, teamwork, and social skills. Like dance, tumbling and gymnastics assist in the development of both mind and body. Participation in the practice of tumbling and gymnastics can help increase balance, coordination, agility, flexibility, strength, and motor skills. In addition, social, communicative, and directional skills are also improved. Tumbling and gymnastics is taught in a safe environment under the careful watch of our trained instructors. With development in mind, participating in these programs means being in a positive and encouraging environment.
