    About Laurel Ridge Moravian Camp in Laurel Springs, NC

    Today, Laurel Ridge is a year-round facility that offers various opportunities for youth, families, churches, and organizations to come and enjoy. Summer Camps and Mission Camps offer kids the opportunity to explore their faith and build relationships with others. Year-round programming includes retreats, conferences, trainings, and more. Rental facilities are also available for special events and gatherings. We invite you to join us at Laurel Ridge to enjoy the wonderful mountain setting and all that Laurel Ridge has to offer.

    Programs at Laurel Ridge Moravian Camp in Laurel Springs, NC

    Pre-Junior Camp

    1st and 2nd graders (or rising 2nd and 3rd graders) are introduced to overnight camp with this two-night, abbreviated experience, which has the added benefit of giving parents an opportunity to adjust to the idea of their camper being away from home! Pre-Junior camp will participate in activities like nature exploration, arts and crafts, group games, and singing. This camp is small in numbers and big in safe, fun activities. We increase the ratio of staff-to-campers for this camp.

    Junior Camp

    For 3rd to 5th graders (or rising 4th-6th graders), our 6-night summer camp offers loads of fun ways to explore the great outdoors, learn how to work with others, master new challenges, and make new friends. Many activities are done in cabin groups, as part of a close-knit, safe community.

    Middle School Camp

    Middle school is a time of many changes and adjustment, and this camp for 6th-8th graders (or rising 7th to 9th graders) will allow time for campers to grow in innate skills and abilities. It’s a safe space for campers to explore while making friendships that will last a lifetime.

    Senior High Camp

    For 9-12th graders, the Laurel Ridge summer camp experience provides an off-the-grid playground to discover both the natural world and their own innate skills and abilities. It’s a safe space for imagination and possibility, a supportive environment for kids to challenge themselves and expand their comfort zones. While making friendships that will last a lifetime.
