About Skillz 4 Kidz Martial Arts

At our dynamic facility, we provide age-specific classes designed to meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of our students. Our classes range from the ages of 3/4, 5/6, 7-9, and 10+, helping to build self-esteem and leadership skills. We encourage children to respect themselves, trust themselves, and grow in confidence in their leadership ability, allowing them to carry this respect for others and leadership into their day-to-day lives. Our goal is for all students to become better versions of themselves each day!

EARLY SKILLZ (AGES 3 – 4)
Three and four-year-old children are naturally curious. They’re restless and eager to explore their surroundings – and to test boundaries and establish their identities. They might not be ready for the rigid structure of a traditional martial arts class, but they do need to start learning about appropriate behavior.

BASIC SKILLZ (AGES 5 – 6)
At times, it can be easy for teachers and parents to overestimate 5 and 6-year-old kids. They’re better at following instructions and paying attention than younger kids, but they still may need some help in controlling themselves and focusing on tasks.

CORE SKILLZ (AGES 7 – 9)
Seven to nine-year-old kids are intellectually curious and starting to mature emotionally – but they also may struggle with appropriate behavior and physical control. Our Core SKILLZ program is specially designed to help them learn martial arts in line with their overall development.
