About The Sewing Room of Garner in Raleigh, NC
This is the perfect place for kids, teens and adults to learn the craft of sewing. We have been teaching people how to sew for over 5 years. Whether you want to learn to make a garment, a bag, or just to become more knowledgeable and comfortable with a sewing machine, we can help. We offer a variety of classes and projects to help you learn the basics of machine sewing and beyond. We have a friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you with each step of the process. So join us in our open studio and let us help you explore the wonderful world of sewing.

Kids Beginner Sewing
This class is great for ages 7 and up. Sewing is a great lifelong skill that every child should have. We have made it our mission to teach as many kids as we can this life skill. Sewing is a great way to showcase creativity and encourage independence.

Kids Beginner Sewing 2
The class will continue to build confidence and independence while learning to make new projects. Each new project will teach a new skill and reinforce good sewing habits learned during Kid's Beginner Sewing.

Bag Making Workshop
Learn how to interface pieces for domestic sewing machines, Avoid bulky seams, Tips for sewing with vinyl on a domestic sewing machine, Learn a new bag pattern, and How to install basic bag hardware, Adults can also take the workshop with their children.
