About Millstone 4-H Center

Located in the Sandhills Game Lands in the southeastern United States, Millstone 4-H Camp is a 320-acre natural treasure. It features some of the most beautiful and restored longleaf pine stands in the area. Millstone is a camp based on long-standing 4-H history and traditions, and it offers a variety of camp activities that are both traditional and modern. From swimming, canoeing, and horseback riding, to target sports, arts and crafts, and campfires, Millstone has something for everyone. Millstone offers 4-H campers the opportunity to explore and discover the outdoors in a safe and enjoyable environment. Specialty camps, as well as rental options, are available for special events. All activities are designed to be age-appropriate and small-group experiences, and ACA accreditation guarantees that they meet the highest safety standards. 4-H Camp
A traditional 6-day camp for kids ages 8-14, this camp begins Sunday afternoon and concludes Friday morning with nonstop fun in between! In the evening, our unique and high-energy programs and shows will provide nonstop entertainment! Combine all this with delicious meals and fun, caring, and highly qualified staff, and you have a week of camp that can’t be beat.

4-H Horsemanship Camp
Bring your equine partner to camp! A signature Millstone camp for over 45 years, Horsemanship Camp will improve your horsemanship skills while having fun with other campers. All breeds and disciplines welcome! Classes are divided by skill level and riding style. Have riding lessons on their own horse twice daily, taught by qualified staff Participate in and watch training demonstrations from professionals.

Cloverbud Camp
Cloverbud Camp is the perfect session for your little adventurers, aged 5-8. With a high staff to camper ratio and age-appropriate activities, this 3-day experience features all the fun and excitement of camp at a pace specifically designed for high energy levels and short attention spans! Afterward, the day classes will enjoy fun-filled shows and games in the evening. Best of all, campers will get to experience many of nature's little wonders all while developing great friendships!

Fur Fish & Game Rendezvous
This is the premier summer camp experience for youth interested in the outdoors, wildlife, hunting, and fishing. Campers will have the opportunity to work with outstanding instructors from NC State University, The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, Wake County Wildlife Club, NC 4-H, and the North Carolina Forestry Service. Campers will also participate in the North Carolina Hunter Safety course and may earn their Hunter Safety Certification.
