    At the Ludmila European Performing Arts Academy, children have the opportunity to explore their creative side.     Music Class Descriptions

    Students will learn music theory, reading musical notes, and proper hand techniques which are the foundation for learning to play any instrument. This course will offer students the opportunity to further refine their finger-style techniques and teach the student how to read music for the guitar. This course will assist new students with basic skills on the guitar as well as prepare an advanced student for university-level musical training. Basic music theory and songwriting/improvisational techniques will also be offered as part of this course.

    Art Classes

    Classes start with small drawing exercises using pencil and a paper. Realistic objects are presented to the student. The student is then asked to draw the object within a short period while looking mostly at the object. This exercise enables the student to practice the hand techniques used to draw objects proportionally. Instruction is equally divided between realistic and abstract drawing projects. Media used includes pencils, colored pencils, and charcoal.

    Dance Class Descriptions

    Students will learn ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, confidence, balance, and flexibility. They will also get an introduction to basic tap fundamentals and terminology.
