With its focus on self-defense, it also allows children to learn how to protect themselves in a safe and controlled environment. Plus, karate provides a unique opportunity to develop mental and physical discipline, teaching children how to focus, and become more aware of their surroundings.

KARATE KIDS CLASS AGES 8 - 13

This class starts your child into his or her Martial Arts training at the beginner level, teaching them their basic skills and building their foundation. Moving forward to the next level of Intermediate Training, at this level your child will start to flow patterns and build combination skill sets in self defense, Kata and weapons.

ADULTS AND TEENS 14 And Up

This class is for beginner to expert. This material begins very basic with (4) directions of movement to simple applications. Then at the intermediate level we add (4) more directions making a total of (8) directions of movement, also applying chokes, locks and takedowns with ground finishing moves. At the advanced level you combine all levels of movement with continuous flow applying strikes, locks, takedowns and ground finishing moves along with vital striking of pressure points to overwhelm your opponent and complete the attack in one unbroken flow of movement from beginning to end.

AFTER SCHOOL MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM ​​

Strong concentration and focus on teaching your child, Respect, Discipline, Manners and Self-Defense. Our AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM is the answer to your child's after school needs. Your child will be picked up at his/her school and transported to Sidekick Karate Of Concord.
