Skyland’s rustic and picturesque setting is ideal for families to get away and enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. Established in the late 1800s, Skyland Camp & Retreats has been offering families a mountain getaway for over 100 years. With its rustic cabins and screened-in sleeping porches, babbling brooks, and tree-lined paths, the property is perfect for a mini-camp, family reunion, or to participate in one of our equine programs. Spend a weekend or a week with us and connect with nature, your family, and yourself. Our retreats are designed to foster a sense of love and belonging, encouraging you to make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Mother-Daughter Camp
Mother-Daughter Camp is all about making memories together while being goofy and having fun! Moms and daughters spend half of the day in activities together and half of the day going to activities with peers close to their own age. Everyone leaves camp with great memories, big smiles, and lots of new friends. Don’t be fooled by the name – “Mother-Daughter” also includes grandmothers, aunts, nieces, and cousins too!

Girls Camp
Skyland campers spend time each day in a mix of core activities and camp electives that allow them to craft their own unique schedules. Games, musical theatre, and swimming unite campers through all-camp performances and team events, creating a shared camper experience and a strengthened community at our all girls summer camp in nc. Archery, horseback riding, culinary arts, crafts and other activities are chosen by campers and allow them to customize their schedules to their individual interests—and to change to something new halfway through the camp session if they want to try their hand at a different activity.

Grown-Up Girls Camp
Get ready to feel like a kid again during this 5-day camp for girls age 21+! A typical day at camp means waking up to reveille with your cabin-mates, riding horses, shooting archery, creating tye-die, enjoying AMAZING food, and ending each night gathered around the campfire. At Grown-Up Girls Camp, we don’t believe in “acting your age”. We believe in having FUN, playing with friends, being outdoors, and learning new things.
